Serving Chicago's Suburbs For Over 30 Years

Communities

Adams and Myers serves the following communities in the Chicagoland area:

Clarendon Hills, IL

Clarendon HillsClarendon Hills takes its quiet dignity from an agrarian heritage. Its once rolling hills, fields of daisies and wild asparagus have been transformed into a friendly village. The Village boasts winding streets lined with majestic old trees. Well maintained homes and a quaint business district that sustains a country friendly manner lend relief from the bustle of business. Clarendon Hills is considered the best kept secret in the Western Suburbs!

The Village was originally laid out and the plat recorded in 1870. At that time it was written that “the peculiarity of the place is that no two streets are parallel, and no two lots are of the same shape and size. Only men of steady habits must settle in this place for the serpentine appearance of the streets might prove too much for a head not evenly balanced!” The design of our unique community has been copied by present day city planners for communities of distinction.

Incorporated January 24, 1924 with 250 residents, it has grown to its present size of over 8,000.

The Clarendon Hills business district has grown since the days of a single dry goods store to a myriad of shops that offer the modern day conveniences and fill the wants and needs of the 2000’s with old fashioned courtesy and service. A wonderful place to live and shop!

Clarendon Hills is governed by a Village Board elected at large and an appointed Village Manager.

The Village is served by four public school districts with most of the children attending elementary schools in Clarendon Hills, nearby Hinsdale Middle School and Hinsdale Central High School. Clarendon Hills is the site for the new Middle School. There are also a number of private and parochial schools available. Day care centers and nursery schools are conveniently located.

The Clarendon Hills Park District offers a variety of programs for all ages and mails a quarterly bulletin of events to every home. There are six parks totaling 43 acres. Lion’s Park Pool includes a zero depth pool, a competitive pool, a water slide with a separate plunge pool, a toddler pool, a sand play area, an expanded deck with shade shelters, and a concession stand.
